Account deletion
Delete your Rugby Nexus account
You can request deletion of your Rugby Nexus account and associated personal data at any time. You can also delete your account directly inside the Rugby Nexus app.
01How to request account deletion
Option 1 — Delete inside the app
Open Rugby Nexus and go to More
Tap Delete Account
Type DELETE to confirm
Tap Delete My Account
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Send an email to info@rugbyhub.co.za with the subject Account Deletion Request and include:
- Your full name
- The email address linked to your Rugby Nexus account
- Your organisation/team name, if applicable
- A statement confirming that you want your Rugby Nexus account deleted
Rugby Nexus may need to verify the request before deletion to prevent unauthorised account removal.
02What will be deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is removed:
- Your user account profile information
- Your account authentication record
- Personal contact information linked to the account
- Parent/guardian account links
- Coach/admin account links
- Account-specific settings
- Associated personal data that is not required to be retained
03What may be retained
Some information may be retained where required for legal, safeguarding, security, fraud-prevention, audit, dispute-resolution or legitimate operational purposes. Where information is retained, it will only be kept for as long as necessary for that purpose.
04Organisation-managed player data
Rugby Nexus is used by rugby organisations such as schools and clubs. Some player-development records may belong to or be managed by the rugby organisation using Rugby Nexus.
Deleting your personal login does not necessarily delete organisational records that the organisation is authorised or required to retain — for example, assessments, reports and match or practice history kept for legitimate team-record and player-development purposes.
Parents: deleting your account removes your guardian link(s) — not the child or their history, and other linked guardians are unaffected. Coaches and staff: deletion removes your access, not the organisation’s rugby records. If you are the sole owner of an organisation, you may need to transfer ownership before deletion so the organisation is not orphaned — contact us and we will help.

05Processing time
We will process valid deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible after verifying the request.
